youth convention 2024: pursuit

HELLO STUDENTS and PARENTS! We are so excited for two days of worship, the word, and a great time with good friends at the amazing Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills area. Youth Convention 2024: PURSUIT is sure to be an amazing time of going deeper in our relationship with Jesus and growing closer to each other. Special guests include speakers Peter Reeves and Kendall Alfaro and worship with Heather Wallace. Youth Convention will be fully staffed and supervised by adult leaders at all times. WHO? Youth Convention is for every student between 12-18 years of age. All persons serving as leaders and counselors have had national criminal background checks and approval by church leadership.

WHERE? Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, Nashville, TN

WHEN? 4:30pm, November 26 -- 8:00pm, November 27

COST: $140 (Includes: Event Registration, Dinner on Tuesday, Lunch/Dinner on Wednesday, Wednesday afternoon Bowling, Transportation) In order to keep down costs, we will not be spending the night at Opryland Hotel.

DEADLINE: October 31 ($50 deposit + consent form) Remaining balance of $90 due on 11/17

DEPARTURE + RETURN TIMES: Be at Full Life on Tuesday, November 26 at 4:30pm for loading and departure. We will return to Full Life that evening at approximately 11pm. Will meet on Wednesday at 8:30am at the church and return that evening around 8pm.

FOOD: The following meals are provided as part of the registration cost: Tuesday evening dinner and Wednesday lunch & dinner.

WHAT TO BRING: Extra spending money (optional - for available merch), Bible, journal, and any needed personal items

RULES OF CONDUCT

We expect each student to conform to these simple rules of conduct: ▪ No cell phone usage during services. ▪ No leaving the service for any reason except for emergencies, go to the bathroom before. ▪ No possession or use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco. ▪ No students can drive. ▪ No fighting, weapons, fireworks, lighters, or explosives. ▪ No offensive or immodest clothing. ▪ Participation with the group is expected. ▪ Respect property. ▪ Respect one another, staff, and adult leaders. ▪ Respect and comply with event schedules. Students who fail to comply with these expectations may be sent home at their parents’ expense. I, the student, have read the rules of conduct, the above evaluation of my health, and permission to participate in student ministry activities. I agree to abide by the stated personal limitations and code of conduct.

PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT

This consent form gives permission to seek whatever medical attention is deemed necessary, and releases the Church and its staff of any liability against personal losses of named child. My student has my permission to participate and attend all student activities sponsored by Full Life Assembly of God (hereinafter referred to as "Church") on November 26-27,2024. I/We the undersigned have legal custody of the student named above, a minor, and have given our consent for him/her to attend events being organized by the Church. I/We understand that there are inherent risks involved in any ministry or athletic event, and I/we hereby release the Church, its pastors, employees, agents, and volunteer workers from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during the course of my/our child’s involvement. In the event that he/she is injured and requires the attention of a doctor, I/we consent to any reasonable medical treatment as deemed necessary by a licensed physician. In the event treatment is required from a physician and/or hospital personnel designated by the Church, I/we agree to hold such person free and harmless of any claims, demands, or suits for damages arising from the giving of such consent. I/We also acknowledge that we will be ultimately responsible for the cost of any medical care should the cost of that medical care not be reimbursed by the health insurance provider. Further, I/we affirm that the health insurance information provided above is accurate at this date and will, to the best of my/our knowledge, still be in force for the student named above.
